Drug & Alcohol Testing Service

As it’s the duty of all PCBU’s to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety of workers, and that other persons are not put at risk by its work, ensuring that workers are fit for purpose and capable of conducting their duties as a worker for the PCBU is becoming absolutely paramount.

Drug and Alcohol Testing is a means of eliminating this risk from your business.  Particularly in areas where your business or undertaking poses significant risks that have been identified within your Risk Management Processes.

Opt 4 Personnel is able to conduct drug and alcohol tests for you. This is carried out by our own Drug Testers who follow AS/NZS 4308:2008. We have established a working relationship with Canterbury Health Laboratories in Christchurch who are a registered and accredited testing laboratory.

We previously offered this service to existing clients who required testing to be conducted as part of their mandatory employment procedures, now we offer this service to any Marlborough business requiring this service. We endeavour to keep costs as low as possible and we are able to take our testing facilities to the customer for on-site testing.

2. Random testing programmes

3. Reasonable cause testing

4. Rehabilitation

5. Post-incident and near miss testing
